Virtual Learning

June 5, 2020

Dear Fourth Grade Families,
It truly has been a privilege to teach your child this year. If you think back to August 2019, your child made the transition to the Intermediate School, mastered locker combinations, learned the layout of the new building, switched classes all while taking on new responsibilities and, in the last few months, learned how to master Google Classroom through Virtual Learning. I could not be more proud of each and every one of my students. I have missed seeing and talking with them every day. It has been a pleasure watching them grow and learn.

As a parent, you will always be your child’s first and number one teacher as well as the most important person in his or her life. I thank you for sharing your child with me this school year. It has been a wonderful and rewarding year for me in many ways. Your continuous support has meant the world to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

During this last week, I find myself thinking of all the wonderful memories we shared as a class. I will always have an interest in how your child is doing and hope to get a visit from time to time when we are back in school. I will always be here to offer help and support and look forward to watching them follow their dreams.

I hope you and your family stay safe and healthy this summer.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Linda L. Lineman

Welcome Fourth Grade Families!

Virtual Learning is uncharted territory for all of us. The fourth grade team’s goal is to provide some meaningful educational activities for the students, while not overwhelming families. All assignments for students who have Reading and Math with me, as well as Social Studies and Science for my entire homeroom, will be posted on my homeroom’s Google Classroom page. (The access code is xs3kc6l.)

Click the link below for a suggested schedule for learning, but absolutely feel free to modify it to fit your family’s unique needs.

Virtual Learning Weekly Chart

If you want or need additional activities, feel free to continue to check for new posts on my Announcements page. You might even want to go back and do an activity a second time.

If you have any questions, I am always available via email. I check my email many times throughout the day; but will be checking even more often during “Office Hours” from 10 am -2 pm Monday-Thursday and 12 pm -2 pm on Fridays. A ZOOM meeting will held every Friday at noon just to check in and say hello.

**Students who have Reading and Math with Ms. Gaul or Ms. Wagner will have their assignments listed on each teacher’s respective Google Classroom page.**

Some other teachers (Speech, Title, Library, BBN etc.) have asked me to share information with families which have been previously posted on my Announcements page.

I hope I get to see my class soon! I really miss my students.

Stay healthy,
Mrs. Lineman
